Some retro things get on fashion again. This is the case of a video of Cristiano Ronaldo from a couple of years ago that went viral again. It was after a bad moment, but showed the confidence of the Portuguese on himself to make a comeback from it. It comes from his first season ever at Juventus, the 2018/209.
His team had lost the RO16 first leg against Atletico Madrid, with a 2-0 in Spain. People thought Juventus was out and Atletico fans insulted Cristiano. After the match, in the press area, the Portuguese was filmed making the first of his two statements that shut up the Colchoneros.
He made a gesture with his hand showing the five fingers and said 'I won 5 Champions, Atletico zero'. Some weeks later, he scored a hattrick in the second leg, Juventus won 3-0 and knocked out their rivals. There is also remembered the gesture he did mocking Diego Simeone, who celebrated in advance.
This was a lesson from Cristiano Ronaldo to Atletico Madrid. Never celebrate in advance, never underestimate your opponent, and no matter how good look things like, never underestimate Cristiano Ronaldo. Because it will backfire and become viral even two years after the event.
