The nightmare that Antoine Griezmann lived in Barcelona because of Lionel Messi

Antoine Griezmann had five magnificent years at Atlético de Madrid. Under Diego Simeone mandate the French attacker was able to reach his greatest level and stand as one of the best players of the world, maybe at the level of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar or so. But things changed since his arrival to FC Barcelona.

In his new club, Griezmann was never the same. The attacker arrived for more than $125 million but the money paid by Barcelona was never recovered on the field. The forward had several problems to adapt and could never perform once again as he used to do on his old side.
