Paris Saint-Germain coach, Mauricio Pochettino has given updates on the possible debut of Lionel Messi. In his press conference ahead of the Week 3 Ligue 1 match against Brest, Pochettino tried to not give so much away on the timeline that the Argentine could start for the Parisians. Lionel Messi is yet to play for the capital club after making a switch from Barcelona a few weeks ago.

According to the Argentine coach, his plans for the Brest game has not been communicated with the team yet and as such he cannot disclose them to the media. However, he disclosed that Messi has made a good connection with his new teammates both on and off the pitch. Pochettino also confirmed that the positive energy and qualities that the Argentine playmaker brings would help the club a lot. 

Lionel Messi starting training with the Paris Saint-Germain squad this week. He earlier completed his free transfer move to PSG on Tuesday last week. He alongside 4 other super signings were unveiled to the Parisian fans on Sunday at the Parc des Princes before the Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg. The fans will hope that they see him in action against Brest this weekend. 

In a related development, PSG coach, Mauricio Pochettino also confirmed that Kylian Mbappe is training well as a member of the squad. Pochettino commented that the Frenchman is working hard to be ready for the season and he sees Mbappe staying with the Parisian club for the season. 21-year-old Mbappe has been the subject of rumours in the wake of having not signed a new contract whilst Real Madrid keeps circling.
