Lautaro Martínez has been FC Barcelona's target during the last transfer window. The Argentine attacker caught the attention of the Spanish club, who wanted to sign him to be the replacement of Luis Suárez, who left to Atlético de Madrid, in the attack with Lionel Messi.

But, Barça couldn't convince the Inter to let him out and the player finally stayed at the club. Recently, Italian press has reported that the agents of the attacker are negotiating a new contract with Inter that will leave Barcelona with no changes of signing Martínez, nor now neither in the future.


Always according to the international press, Lautaro's new contract won't have a release clause, that is now stipulated in more than $115 million, but that will be deleted soon, in order to keep the player at the club. Aged 23, the forward is Inter greatest talent and most valuated player.


Martínez has a contract remaining until June 2023, but both agent players and advisers from the club match that it is time for a renewal. Inter bought him paying more than $28 million to his former club Racing from Argentina on July 2018 and even though many clubs try to sign him during the pasts transfer windows, he has always kept loyal to Inter.
