The new reason why Sergio Aguero will keep missing matches

Manchester City has been suffering a lot lately without Sergio Aguero. The striker has suffered a serious knee injury and when it seemed than he was just about coming back, he got bad news that made him miss the match of today and Pep Guardiola could not believe it when he found out.

He had just gone back to training, and was hoping to play the FA Cup match against Birmingham City that his team won 3-0, to start closing his tenth year with the Citizens. This might be also his last because his contract will expire on June 30th, and he does not look like he will sign an extension.

But someone in Aguero's close circle has just tested positive of COVID-19, so he will have to isolate for some days and miss trainings. Last week, many Manchester City players missed the match against Chelsea, and before that a game against Everton was postponed for many positive cases in the Guardiola's squad.

Then, the Argentinian will probably delay his return date, because he will have to wait to come back to training and get better of his knee. Guardiola himself has declared how much he has missed Kun, even before finding out of his isolation, because he is very important within the roster and everybody loves him.
