MLS is forming the new Luis Suárez. The Uruguayan striker marked the last era for his national team as for FC Barcelona as well, where he transformed himself into the third all-time top scorer of the Spanish side. Afterwards, he left to Atlético de Madrid and had a great start of the season.

But the Suárez era is about to end as he is 33 years old and there is already someone who can succeed him. He is Diego Rossi, the Uruguayan striker from LAFC who has just won the Golden Boot award for the regular season in the MLS. Rossi scored 14 goals so far this season and achieves the award that the last year was won by Carlos Vela.

During his arrival to LAFC, the attacker played 98 games and scored 52 goals. He arrived to the club on January 2018, when the MLS club paid to Peñarol former club almost $3 million. Nowadays, his value has increased a lot and his reported prize is higher than $20 million, according to specialized site Transfermarkt.

LAFC tied 1-1 against Portland Timbers on the last game of the regular season. The team coached by Bob Bradley finished seventh in the Western Conference after earning 32 points on 22 matches. Now they will be facing Seattle Sounders on the MLS Cup Playoffs.
