Arthur Melo is going through one of the worst times of his career. Since his arrival at Juventus on June, the 19th, 2020, the Brazilian midfield has not demonstrated a good performance and for that reason the Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo does not considers him a fundamental footballer in the team.

The 24-year-old footballer has not shown the talent that the supporters of the Italian team expected. Even when playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the best player in the world, Arthur hasn't been able to adapt to play with him. Therefore, fans are demanding him more sacrifice. However, this is not the first time that he faced this situation.

The former Barcelona player also had problems when he played for the Spanish club alongside the best footballer in the world, Lionel Messi. In total, he only played 72 games for the Catalan club and scored four goals. Due to his poor performances, Barcelona transfered him to La Vecchia Signora.

The current Velez player Fernando Gago experienced a similar situation in the past. The 34-year-old midfielder became a substitute at Real Madrid in 2009, just as Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at the Spanish club. He also failed to show consistency in the Argentinian national team alongside Lionel Messi.
