Argentina has always been a land in which a lot of top players were born. One of the most emblematic ones ever is Lionel Messi. One of those is Thiago Almada, a youngster aged 19 that plays for Vélez Sársfield. The kid was born in Villa Fiorito, the same place as Diego Maradona, and is one of the greatest players of the local league. It has always been said that top European teams tried to sign him, but now it seems to be true.

International press reported that Almada is in the radar of Manchester United. The Red Devils have a clear strategic by which they are signing young players, to try to be once again one of the best sides in the world in the future.
