The arrival of Edinson Cavani to Manchester United is a deal done, after the player accepted a contract and arrived in free-term condition to the historical English club. But, there is a big problem for the Red Devils regarding the date of the Uruguayan striker debut.
Cavani had coronavirus a month ago, as he recognized to the press, after a trip to Ibiza with Leandro Paredes and Ángel Di María. According to UK Governments, the attacker should be self-isolated for 14 days now, but at Manchester they are working to earn an exception in order to achieve the forward to play.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær needs Cavani urgently, as they've lost 6-1 against Tottenham on their last Premier League game and are now 16th in the league. To recover, the head coach was expecting for his new reinforcement right now but the quarantine that he should go through seems to be an impediment in Solskjær plans.
After the October international break, Manchester United will play against Newcastle (Saturday 17) and the against PSG (Tuesday 20), Cavani's last team. If things don't change, the Uruguayan will join the trainings on Monday 19, just one day before the Champions League debut and with few time to work with his companions.
