Robert Plant, mythical ex vocalist of the English band Led Zeppelin, sent a message of support to Raúl Jiménez, the Mexican forward of the Wolves who suffered a serious accident during the game that the club was playing against Arsenal.
Through his twitter account, the english musician wrote "Come on Raul" along with a photograph of the Mexican footballer with the hashtag #FUERZARAUL.
On November 29th during the 10th round of the Premier League, Raul as he is known by Wolverhampton fans had a hard head-on collision with central defender David Luiz, which caused him to break his skull. The striker left the field immobilized and oxygen assisted.
Jimenez was immediately taken to a London hospital, where he underwent surgery. According to local media, the Mexican was successfully operated on and is now recovering, it is expected that Jimenez can leave the hospital early next week. Once home, Jiménez will be reunited with her partner, Daniela, and her daughter, whom she has been unable to see since Sunday because of COVID-19 restrictions. According to the medical report, Raul will have to play with a helmet similar to goalkeeper Peter Cech's for the next 4 to 6 months.
