Lionel Messi played aside some top international figures during his professional career. Many of them were the ones he met at FC Barcelona and that exploded when Josep Guardiola was the head coach of the team. Even though he had many top figures as companions, there was one that helped him to be the best player in the world.

We are talking about Andrés Iniesta, one of the best Spanish players in history, or maybe the best one. The playmaker was formed in Albacete and arrived to La Masía when very young, in 1996. He stayed at Barça until 2018, gaining all the titles possible and even winning a World Cup with Spain.

On July 2018 he decided to leave and joined Japanese side Vissel Kobe, the first professional team he represented aside Barcelona. There he has a contract signed until January 2022, a date that could mark the end of his career. With 36 years old, Iniesta still got the talent to play in a low-profile league as the Japanese and be a top player.

Recently, he suffered an injury in his right leg that forced him to used clutches and rest for a couple of months. But now, Iniesta has uploaded a video to his social media in which he shows himself walking with one clutch and pushing it far away from him, prof that he is near to his comeback. For Barcelona, he played 674 matches, scored 57 goals and gave 139 assists.
