Manchester City continues to work on its transfer market. The two main targets have been known for weeks and both have been at the Eurocup with the England national team: Harry Kane and Jack Grealish. However, convincing their clubs will not be easy and the total amount of the operations can go above 200 million euros.
After England's defeat in the European Championship against Italy, Harry Kane is on vacation to rest, but above all, to think about his future. Once again, the striker missed out on a title, something that has happened more times than he would like at Tottenham and that is one of the main reasons why the player wants to change his ways.
The admiration between City and Kane is mutual and as "The Athletic" has published, the Sky Blues are willing to make an exception in their transfer policy to get the English striker to be part of their team. City are used to spending around 70 million euros per player and the amount they want to invest in Kane would exceed those limits, reaching up to 120 million if necessary.
The 28-year-old wants to win titles and is convinced that in Pep's team his wishes would come true. But this has not been the only team that has shown interest in the striker, who has also been interested in Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid, although this option is not contemplated by the player, as he prefers to remain in the Premier League.
While the negotiation with Tottenham will be hard and long, and there is a possibility that they will have to wait until the last day of the market with the risk of not being able to replace Agüero, the situation with Aston Villa is different. According to English media, everything is ready to be signed with Grealish, as there is a clause in his contract that City is willing to put on the table, so it has also been published that the personal amounts are agreed.
