The incredible club that Lionel Messi can go to as a tribute to Diego Maradona

The story of Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona seems to be near to its end. The forward has been playing for the Catalan side during more than 20 years and now things may change soon. He arrived with 13 years old from Rosario to join La Masía and since then he transformed into the best player ever in the history on the club.

But Messi got tired of many things in Barça and tried to leave the club during the last transfer window. Ex-president Josep María Bartomeu denied him the possibility to move but after his depart, things have now changed. It is also important to consider that his contract will reach an end on June 2021.

An ex-companion of Messi, Kevin-Prince Boateng, asked him to move to Napoli to pay tribute to Diego Armando Maradona after the death of the legend on November 25. Boateng assured that for the Argentinian it will be like living a movie to do such a thing and that he would need to move in helicopter inside the city because fans will love him.

Despite the wish of Boateng, it is hard to think such a thing will occur. Messi is 33 years old and after his time at Barcelona he is convinced on moving to another club. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the two with more chances to sign him. Since January, he will be able to negotiate and move as a free agent on June 2021.
