Olivier Giroud is already 34 years old and going through the last moments of his professional career. The attacker hasn’t yet confirmed where he is going to play in the future, as his contract with Chelsea ends on June 2021 and there are many clubs interested on signing him, like Inter Miami.

David Beckham, owner and president from the MLS side, has an excellent relationship with the striker and has been trying to convince him to move during the last months. Giroud hasn’t taken the final decision but, getting to the end of the year, there are many reasons why the forward is thinking on accepting.

Despite the economical motivation and the possibility to live in a city like Miami, Giroud is tempted to leave to Inter Miami as head coach from France national team Didier Deschamps told him that he needed to play more if he wanted to be in the call-up to the EURO 2021.

Playing the international competition is a big motivation for the attacker, who is now seriously thinking on departing. Giroud has only played 10 matches so far this season under Frank Lampard’s mandate. In many opportunities, the trainer sends him to the field during the last minutes of the game and that is exactly what Deschamps don’t want from his no. 9.
