Kylian Mbappé seemed destined to leave Paris Saint-Germain to emigrate to Spain and sign for Real Madrid, but that possibility now has less and less strength. The Frenchman met with the president of PSG, Al-Khelaifi, and would have agreed to stay with the team until the end of his contract, which will be in June next year.

The striker confessed to his inner circle in the dressing room that he will stay and play alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar. The White House will have to wait to sign Mbappé, at least, until the end of his link with PSG.

Mbappé played five seasons with the capital club and won 11 titles (three Ligue 1, two League Cups, three French Cups and three French Super Cups). He scored 132 goals and provided 63 assists in 173 appearances. Excellent numbers for the Frenchman.

Real Madrid, therefore, will not be able to add their top target to reinforce the squad and are already beginning to consider another alternative: Erling Haaland, who would become the new priority. In fact, on April 1, Alf-Inge Haaland, the player's father, met with Madrid's top manager to discuss a possible signing.
