The Portuguese could be making Wolverhampton one of the richest clubs.

Cristiano Ronaldo could be leaving Juventus in an historical transfer. The Portuguese legend arrived to the Italian side on July 2018 and after more than two years is thinking on leaving. The club spends a huge amount of money in his contract and after the COVID-19 pandemic they need to reduce their expenses.

CR7 has already received offers from multiple clubs and there is a chance of him moving to a team that nobody expected to. That is Wolverhampton, the English side in which Mexican Raúl Jiménez plays as well. The transfer may be happening, if the Portuguese is encouraged to return to the Premier League.

It was Troy Deeney, attacker from Watford, who first said that Cristiano could be moving to Wolves. The club has a big connection with Portuguese, due to the eight players that are currently there, the coach Nuno Espírito Santo and the influence of agent Jorge Mendes.

If Cristiano decides and moves, Wolverhampton will be gaining a fortune. Such a movement implies a lot of economical agreement with brands plus the fortune that he could leave on jerseys sold. When CR7 arrived Juventus, the club recovered part of its investment only on the jerseys sold.
