The efforts Antoine Griezmann is making to get the FC Barcelona squad to like him

Antoine Griezmann finds himself in a difficult situation at the moment in FC Barcelona. The World Cup winner was signed for 120 million euro, but he never settled fully. And in a chaotic dressing room, he has not had a great relationship with the leaders of the squad. But he wants to change that.

Another factor is that his performances on the pitch did not help. But he thinks everybody, including him, can do better if the environment gets friendlier and happier. If he takes his teammates to face the routine with a smile on their faces, he will be liked and will feel more comfortable at the club.

That is the reason he had two gestures for the other players. After a Champions League match in Kiev, Griezmann took the microphone of the team bus and sang Pedri the happy birthday, who was turning 18 that day, initiating a little improvised party. And on Christmas, he bought expensive Louis Vuitton accessories for every member of the squad.

That is what Griezmann is doing to compensate his shortcomings on the pitch. He thinks that if is not able to perform in the matches, he will make his teammates feel better to do so. And of course, will make them have a better opinion of him so he can stay in the club he always wanted to play for.
