The UEFA Champions League clash between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain was definitely the biggest attraction in world’s soccer this week. And the day after, it’s clear it was right to believe so. The Frenchmen won 4-1 in Barcelona’s soil, but the man of the night was Kylian Mbappé. The 22-year-old star scored three goals and was absolutely unstoppable.

Mbappé signed for PSG by the end of 2017-2018, which he already played for the club but technically in a loan spell, still belonging to AS Monaco. Then, after the World Cup held in Russia, which his national team won, the Frenchman became an active member of the Parisian squad. The transfer was closed in €145 million ($175.5 million).

Which would be the happy figure for PSG? No less than €200 million, according to local newspaper Le Parisien. How much does that represent in USD? Well, as per current exchange rates we’d be talking about some $242 million. It would not be yet the highest transfer ever, that was when Neymar was acquired by PSG for €222 million ($268 million) in 2017.
