Raúl Jiménez is having a very good moment, probably the best one in his whole career. The Mexican attacker scored four goals after eight Premier League appearances and received the call of head coach Gerardo Martino to play with Mexico national team in the FIFA international break, scoring a goal in the first match against South-Korea.

Jiménez himself recognized that during the last time his name was linked to some top European clubs, such as Manchester United or Juventus. At the end, the transfer wasn’t made and the attacker aged 29 stayed at Wolverhampton, where he seems to be having one of the best moments of his career.

Real Madrid was other of the clubs who seemed to be near to sign Jiménez, and, for the statements made by Toni Kroos during the last days we may think that the German midfielder wasn’t going to be glad if Jiménez joined. The reason is that Kroos said that he didn’t like when players make histrionic celebrations after scoring.

Jiménez put a mask after scoring sometimes, and we may think that is something that Kroos doesn’t like too much. After all, Jiménez future is still uncertain but seems to be at the Premier League. His contract with Wolves ends on June 2024, and he has a reported value of $40 million nowadays.
