Today, history has been made. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal for Juventus against Inter and with 763 goals in his whole career, broke the record set by Josef Bican and Pelé. Almost 20 years of career that had lots of records as a result, and today he set the best of all.

And Real Madrid, the club where he is the top scorer ever and where he scored almost the half of them (311 goals) more exactly, congratulated him with a post on Twitter. Or at least that seems, because it is too dry and does not show too much for the best player in the 118 years of history of the club.

It says 'The top scorer of our history is also so of world soccer. Congratulations, Cristiano'. The tone was what caught the attention, maybe considering he does not play for the Casa Blanca anymore and left the club in bad terms with the president Florentino Perez.

Stil, this maybe snarky message should not change the focus of the achievement Cristiano Ronaldo has just done. This record had waited 80 years to be broken, and with Lionel Messi 40 goals behind, there is still competition for it, for the ultimate chapter of this soccer rivalry.
