Keylor Navas broke his silence and gave an extensive interview for the official PSG magazine. The goalkeeper spoke about his time at Real Madrid, but also encouraged himself to compare his last two teams. The footballer conquered the Champions League three times in a row, he is part of a glorious generation of the white club and now reveals how his adaptation was after replacing Iker Casillas' position.

"I didn't try when I got to show, that I was better than Iker, and that my career would be more successful than his. I have simply tried to take advantage of the opportunity they gave me to work hard, with humility and to do my best", said Keylor Navas. In addition, he added that it has been his formula in the Parisian team: "What I have come to do in Paris, to give the maximum and to raise with my teammates as many titles as possible, for the fans and for my family", he assure.

When being rebuked about the main differences between the two teams, the player focused his analysis on the fans: "They are two great teams that both try to make history. When I arrived in Paris I felt the affection of the club, they have received me incredibly well and that is important to me", added the goalkeeper, who continues to establish himself as one of the most important goalkeepers in recent years.

PSG or Real Madrid? He acknowledged that he feels much more fond of PSG fans: “Yes, I feel the affection of everyone here in Paris. In Spain I had the feeling that a part of the club did not totally believe in me", he confessed. "I will always be eternally grateful to the Real Madrid fans for the unconditional support they showed me and that they still show me today despite having changed teams", confessed the footballer. However, he affirmed his theory: "Here at PSG things are a bit different. Everyone believes in me and I try to correspond to their trust in each game", Navas said.

The last Champions that Keylor lost, and what they aspire to this season

Keylor Navas was always characterized by his humility, and that is because he has not yet forgotten his origins. Everything he achieved, he earned by working, and today he struggles to continue growing. The goalkeeper emerged from Saprissa, in his native Costa Rica, was climbing levels, until he reached the White House, where he was able to raise the Champions League 3 times. However, that is already past, and today he dreams of writing the great history of PSG. In the last edition, they reached the final, and lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich, in what would have been the Parisian team's first conquest of the most important tournament in Europe. However, he confessed that despite the pain of defeat, today they are strong, and confident that they will be able to achieve it.
