Luis Suárez wrote a complete history in FC Barcelona. The Uruguayan attacker was one of the best that passed through the club in its history and ended as one of the all-time top scorers of the Catalan side. But after six years, ex-president Josep María Bartomeu decided to kick him of the squad.

As a free agent, Suárez searched for a new club and signed for Atlético de Madrid. The Colchoneros, as they are known, took advantage of the situation and make him a contract until June 2022. After 283 games played, 195 goals scored and 113 assists given, he left Barcelona and signed with his new club.

This Saturday was the day marked as the one in which Suárez was going to first Barcelona, and his greatest friend Lionel Messi for the very first time since he left. But Suárez was infected with COVID-19 while playing the World Cup Qualifiers and couldn’t play the game at Wanda Metropolitano.

Diego Simeone side finally defeated Barcelona 1-0 to climb to the first position on LaLiga and Suárez celebrated the victory. As he could play and was neither at the locker room, he posted a picture of his companions celebrating and wrote Big team with plenty of emojis with which he celebrated. The message made some Barcelona fans mad, and he was criticized.
