Today is Cristiano Ronaldo's birthday. He turned 36 today and celebrated with an Instagram post that gathered five million likes. He is loved for lots of people around the world, and his club is not the exception. Juventus had benefited a lot of CR7's goals, that keep the team with chances of fighting for the league.
The Portuguese has scored 22 goals in 23 games this season, and the Old Lady wants to keep him for longer. His contract will end in 2022 and given he is extremely ambitious and always wants to compete at top level, the club want to help him with that. So they would enjoy each other.
With this in mind, Juventus will offer him a contract extension, and Tuttosport reported that the both club and player want it to be for one year more, until 2023, when Ronaldo is 38 years old. He has an obsession with fitness, so his age is not a big deal when it comes to his future.
Cristiano, who joined in 2018 after becoming the top scorer ever of Real Madrid, would have spent five years in Turin when that contract ends. Maybe he could retire at that point, while being still a world class player. Or maybe, he could give his last shots somewhere else, and MLS could be one of his possibilities.
