The transfer market is over, so only free players can join the teams. This is the case of Mario Gotze, who goes to PSV after ending his contract with Borussia Dortmund. It will be his first club outside of Germany after passing through Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

PSV realizes the arrival of Gotze without having to invest money in his transfer, so he only has to pay his salary. The amount that he will pay is not yet known but it is believed that it will be close to 7 or 8 million dollars per year. It is not such a high sum for a player of the level of Mario Gotze.

Gotze, who scored the goal that gave Germany a World Cup in 2014, comes to PSV to try to return to his level. The forward has suffered several injuries in recent years and thus lost his place at Borussia Dortmund. In addition to Borussia Dortmund, great forwards like Haaland arrived that made Gotze to be in a second place in the coach's consideration.

In addition to Gotze, PSV confirmed the return of former club player Marco van Ginkel. Van Ginkel returns to PSV after his failed stint at Chelsea where he has not been able to demonstrate the level he once showed in the Netherlands. With Gotze in his lead, PSV hopes this season to be able to fight the league against the always complicated Ajax.
