The actual reason that made Neymar cancel his big New Year party was revealed

Neymar made the worldwide news again, but sadly, this time it had nothing to do with his soccer skills. He was planning a huge New Year party for 500 people in his mansion of Mangaratiba, near Rio de Janeiro, ignoring all the COVID-19 prevention measures in Brazil, one of the countries that suffered the pandemic the most.

The Brazil and PSG star denied the accusations and told there was a reunion for 150 people, all of them family and friends, always respecting the protocols, but the guests list, many of them artists, was leaked anyway. And it was revealed the real reason that made Neymar reverse his decision of throwing back that party.

The event had to be cancelled when Ney was called by a judge and had to tell him he was not organizing any party. Events in private homes are not forbidden in Brazil, but something like that in this times concerned the whole population. And after the backlash and the legal warning, the party was officially cancelled.

Anyway, it is not too sure what has actually happened in New Years Eve, because next to his mansion there was a party where the guests were not allowed to enter with their cellphones with them, and that might be related with the event Neymar was actually planning in the first place.
