Khabib Nurmagomedov is a legend mixed martial arts. He retired last year winning 29 out of 29 fights and is regarded as one of the best ever of UFC, and the victory over Conor McGregor is one of his most highlighted victories ever. At 32 years old, with he received an unexpected offer.
And this offer is for switching sports and turning to soccer. Recently, Nurmagomedov posted a video on his Instagram account training, and wrote 'Preparing for football'. And yesterday, he posted the picture he took with Virgil Van Dijk, legend and captain of Liverpool.
This offer comes from the professional team FC Kamaz, from the Russian third division. The club offered the former fighter to make his soccer debut there in a statement, and told that the league is the soccer UFC, because they play every match only to win and are an ambitious team with the task of getting promoted to the second tier.
Nurmagomedov could do the same as Usain Bolt when he joined Central Coast Mariners in Australia, despite it did not end well for him. It is unclear what position wold the former #1 take, but fortunately for him, the PFL (Professional Football League) allowed him to play soccer at that level.
