The UEFA Qualifiers are the ones that in the world delivered the list of qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup the earliest. 10 teams are in peace waiting for the time of a new appointment to arrive, but there are still three tickets to be distributed.
France, England, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Serbia, Switzerland, Denmark and Croatia are confirmed as participants in the event that will take place between November and December next year in the Middle East. Others were not so lucky and will have to overcome another instance.
Figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robert Lewandowski, Gareth Bale and Ciro Immobile will have to face the repechage in March, where there will be three tickets for 12 teams. Another group, however, was left out of all possibility, denying their figures the possibility of showing off in Qatar.
- Erling Haaland: Norway was on the right track to qualifying, but his injury complicated everything at the close of the Playoff group. The Nordics were left out of everything and Haaland will have to wait until 2026.
- Jan Oblak: He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world with his performances at Atlético de Madrid, but he failed to qualify for Qatar 2022 with Slovenia.
- Edin Dzeko: The Inter Milan striker could not repeat the Bosnian qualification as in Brazil 2014 and probably said goodbye to repeating it at 35 years old.
- Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Armenia won in its first three appearances and appeared to qualify for Qatar 2022, but failed to score three-to-three in the next seven games and was left out of the fight in the group that dominated Germany.
- Stefan Savic: The captain of Montenegro and defender of Atlético de Madrid failed to advance in the Qualifiers and will not be in the World Cup either.
