Manchester City is looking forward to transforming into the best European team soon. That is the reason why they have been spending fortunes on signing players and hired Pep Guardiola as the head coach for many years. The ultimate news points out that they are also planning on getting with the better players on the world, and signing Lionel Messi is a clear option for them.

But as Paris Saint-Germain and some other MLS sides are interested on Messi as well, there are intentions from the Citizens to try to look for the new Messi. That would mean spending millions on very young talented players, that on the future may perform as the legend have done in his career.

One of those set to be the new Argentine's idol successor is Darío Sarmiento. The offensive midfielder is only 17 years old and plays for Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina. During the last months, he has been the best player of his team, despite the results obtained were not the best ones.

Sarmiento was picked by legendary head coach Alejandro Sabella as one of those players set to be the best attacker from the Argentine on the future. The faith deposited in him is very big and Pep Guardiola has been following him during the last days, convincing himself that his signing is a good chance for the Premier League Club.
