Sergio Ramos: these are Manchester United’s plans on his future

Sergio Ramos is in serious danger of leaving Real Madrid and he is being linked to many possible destinations. Among the most important ones are PSG and Manchester United. The wealthy French club could be in advantage. The Spanish board has been doing its biggest effort to reach an extension deal, but they are almost finishing talks.

PSG seems to be the strongest candidate, according to some conclusions following information reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. As per the French club, he mentioned they are only interested in signing Ramos if it is on a free transfer. They will immediately move to another target in case he signs a contract extension with Real Madrid.

Manchester United is evaluating many options in the center back position to join Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof. Of course, the Spanish legend is among the candidates too. It is pretty certain that the English side will follow the same path as PSG, and only look for him in case it’s a free transfer.

As per Sergio Ramos’ chances of signing for Manchester United, Romano pointed the club has not given him a call yet, because the board and the coaching staff led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer didn’t decide who they will go for. They will only choose the asset in a few months’ time – meanwhile, PSG is waiting for the contract talks between the player and his club finish definitely.
