The fearful defender ended his relationship with Real Madrid after arriving at the club at the age of 19 and a very successful time at Camp Nou.

He wanted a two years contract extension but Florentino Pérez was not ready to give in to the demands considering his age, PSG saw the opportunity and needed the experience of the skipper especially in their quest for the UEFA Champions League trophy.

But months after signing for PSG he's yet to make his debut as he has been sidelined by a calf injury. He has since focused on personal recovery, training alone and is poised to join the team this coming week. The team medical personnel are concerned about an injury relapse that may keep him out of the entire season, hypothetically he's expected to commence full training by Monday 25th of October.

This means Sergio Ramos is being paid a whopping sum of €21m to sit on the bench. He's the fourth most paid player in PSG over €300m annual salary after Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. He's yet to make his debut in a PSG shirt since signing in July and is desperate to play in front of the fans.
