The future of Sergio Ramos will be defined in a couple of months. The Spanish defender aged 34 years is set to leave Real Madrid after a long time, as the club and the idol didn’t arrange the renewal of his contract, expiring on June. This makes his chances of leaving huge.

Ramos was expecting to receive an offer from president Florentino Pérez in 2020, but instead he received one in the first days of 2021. To add, he wanted a contract of $20 million, while the president wielded that paying that nowadays is impossible as the club is not facing the best financial situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ramos then started to negotiate to know where he could play his last years as a professional player and Paris Saint-Germain and the MLS appear as two of the best options. The Parisians could make a dream team including him, with which they would try to gain their first Champions League title in their history.

L’Equipe published this Monday that Sergio Ramos exploded against Real Madrid and Florentino for the bad offers received to renew his contract. The World Champion said that they told him that there is no money to pay him $20 million yearly, while they are working on the signing of Kylian Mbappé for more than $150 million.
