Sergio Aguero suffered from cardiac Arrhythmia after he was forced off due to heart discomfort in a match against Alaves. He was said to be out for three months but after much assessment he was advised to quit football and retire.

The Argentine signed for Barcelona at the beginning of the season after leaving Manchester City but was not able to start the season with Barcelona due to injury. He was expected to score goals for the Catalan Club but was sidelined by a Calf Injury.

He's expected to terminate his contract if he's forced to retire because of a heart problem. His contract with Barcelona if terminated due to his retirement will not be fulfilled. Barcelona are going through a financial crisis and will be strict with finances.

Aguero retirement will mean that Barcelona need to look for a replacement and that will cost them a lot of money, so paying Aguero the remaining part of his contract will not be welcomed. His contract will be terminated based on mutual agreement and both parties will part ways. The end to a wonderful and memorable career is near for the Argentine.
