Sergio Agüero: the three MLS teams where he would fit the best

On Monday, Sergio Agüero announced that he will not renew his contract with Manchester City after ten years of ties. The news, although it was speculated to happen, took everyone by surprise. He was immediately linked with different clubs: Barcelona, due to his relationship with Lionel Messi, PSG, by the Argentines Mauricio Pochettino, Ángel Di María, Leandro Paredes and Mauro Icardi, Juventus, to accompany Cristiano Ronaldo up front, and also with the return to Independiente, the club where he debuted. And this Thursday, the official MLS account presented which would be the three best franchises for Kun to move to the United States. 

Although the first rumors suggested that Inter Miami, co-owned by English star David Beckham, would be the first team in the American league to ask about his services, from the same competition they categorically ruled it out, they even went further. Through a column on its official website, the MLS has proposed three teams in which Agüero could fit perfectly, either because of his scoring ability or because of the appeal he would generate in the fans, and although they assume that they could hardly compete with European teams, they will try.

The first of them, says the portal, would be Los Angeles FC, where Mexican star Carlos Vela currently plays, since in his opinion, "it's probably the perfect place; just think of the damage that Agüero could do in collusion with a midfield in tornado mode and the two most dangerous wingers in the league. It seems like almost every other team in MLS would be in big trouble".

The second ideal MLS team for Agüero would be the Los Angeles Galaxy, since in his opinion it would be the perfect complement for forward Javier Chicharito Hernández to become the scorer that everyone wants; "With the Argentine running outside the area, the Mexican would win a world of space", he added.

And the latest franchise, by almost a matter of logic, is New York City FC, owned by the same owners as their current team, as "they would benefit greatly from adding a favorite to what is often a swirling, oppressive possession monster" and they add that his compatriot, Maximiliano Moralez, "would have a terror pass as a target", making them candidates for the title.
