If there is anything Barcelona needs right now, it is not having players out with long term injuries and or medical emergencies where the club will be paying for medical expenses and still paying wages for players who don't take part in the team on the pitch.

Barcelona's financial woes this season had their salary cap limited to £97m by the league board, a situation which forced Lionel Messi, because of whom Aguero joined out of the club. The club's injury list is growing and Aguero's heart problem coming now has certainly done no good for the club.

Aguero pockets €6m per season at Barcelona and joined on June 1, after three games of less than 90 minutes combined, he has earned a huge wage of €2.5m despite not playing for the club as he would have been expected to, and with his medical emergency which will keep him out for three months, he is set to earn more free money.

Barcelona announced that the Argentine will be out for at least three month. In that time he will receive a salary of €1.5m. His return is not certain as it depends on how his treatment goes, should it be that he is unable to play again, his contract would be terminated and he would be paid the full sum of it.
