Sevilla have agreed a player plus cash deal with English club Tottenham Hotspurs for the sale of young player Bryan Gil that will see Argentine winger Erik Kamela go the other way. The deal is reported to be worth $29.6m plus Pamela but Sevilla could have made more.

Spanish media Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Sevilla tried to make the 20year old Gil sign a new contract that will have his release clause at $177m but the player and his representatives rejected the contract.

Gil is highly rated in Spain as a player and had a good loan spell at Eibar and was rewarded with his first senior callup for Spain earlier this year though he did not make the squad to the Euro 2020 where Spain reached the semifinal.

Lamela who began his career at River Plate in Argentina will join Sevilla and sign a three year contract. He was not named in the Argentina squad that won the Copa America.
