Bayern Munich is reportedly considering a sensational swoop for Chelsea Striker, Timo Werner after just one season in England. The German Champions are rumoured to be preparing an audacious bid to bring the pacy frontman back to the Bundesliga for the 2021-22 season.

Timo Werner moved to Chelsea in a deal worth over £40m during the summer of 2020 and found it difficult to replicate his excellent performances from the Bundesliga at the Stamford Bridge. However, new Bayern Munich coach, Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly dreaming up an Allianz Arena reunion with the pacy forward he helped unearth during their time together at RB Leipzig.

Sources say that Chelsea might consider cashing in on the striker after scoring only 6 goals in 35 premier league appearances for the London side. Chelsea is also in an elaborate striker search of their won as they have been linked with Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane, and ironically, Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich.
