Serie A Champions, Inter Milan have slapped a £102m price tag on Belgian Striker, Romelu Lukaku. The Nerazzurri have stated that they don't want their prized asset to go and would hope that the price tag would scare off potential suitors, especially the frontman's former club, Chelsea.
The European Champions are seeking fresh legs in the striking department and they are looking the way of a player who was once on their books. Chelsea sold Lukaku to Everton for £28m after the striker's efforts weren't enough to convince at Stamford Bridge.
However, it is rumoured that only a bid in the excess of £100m would tempt the Chinese owners of Inter to part with the striker. Lukaku was instrumental in Inter Milan's run to the title last season under Antonio Conte. He formed a deadly partnership with Argentine striker, Lautaro Martinez.
Other transfer targets by Chelsea seem to be unrealistic as Borussia Dortmund are demanding £160m for Erling Haaland while Harry Kane seems to be primed for a move to Manchester City. Timo Werner failed to reach his Bundesliga heights last season after the London club splashed the cash on him. Tammy Abraham is widely rumoured to be open to an exit while Olivier Giroud has completed his move to AC Milan.
