Ajax striker Sebastien Haller and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah are two Africans who are lighting up the UEFA Champions League this season scoring goals, winning matches and setting records but who has the best numbers.
Sebastien Haller struggled in the Premier League with West Ham before sealing a move to the Eredivisie with Dutch Champions Ajax where he has lit up the league this season, most importantly the UEFA Champions where he has scored nine goals in five games.
Mohamed Salah on the other hand has clearly been the best player not only in the Premier League but in the world with eye-catching performances, mesmerising skills and incredible numbers. He has scored six goals in five Champions League games.
Salah is clearly the standout player but Haller's numbers this season certainly rivals the two times African footballer of the year. The two players will clash at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon in January.
