Ronaldo's new home in Manchester? The £7.5m mansion he could buy

Cristiano Ronaldo has moved back to the city of Manchester after completing a €13m transfer to United on Friday. The former Juventus forward is back to familiar surroundings, having turned out for the EPL club in the first stint between 2004 and 2009. 12 years away, through the cities of Madrid and Turin, Ronaldo once again calls Manchester home. 

The 5-time Ballon d'Or winner would be eager to settle down in the city whilst he starts his second spell at the Theatre of Dreams. Owning a home will be top on his agenda due to his rather large family of girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez; his 5 children and his aged mother that stays with him. Since he'll be looking for a large house to accommodate everyone, here is a perfect one for him. 

The property is a 25-acre in Ollerton near Knutsford. The property boasts award-winning gardens and even a lake within its premises. The main building on the property is a large mansion built in the Georgian style sitting on 9500 square feet of land. The house sports 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 5 reception rooms and a galleried reception area. All this space would certainly be needed considering Cristiano Ronaldo's large family and then any other housekeepers that the star would employ. 

Furthermore, the mansion has a gym (necessary for Ronaldo's home workout sessions), a swimming pool, a spa area, a steam team room and an outdoor tennis court. In short, this mansion is just the perfect sportsman house. There is also a games room with a large pool table alongside other indoor games. Ronaldo's competitiveness is well documented and he will seek to win all these games. 

On the price front, the mansion goes for £7.5m. Though, a bit pricey, it should be well within the 5-time Ballon d'Or winners range. His £25m a year contract should allow him to purchase the house without any problems. Crucially, the house is within the  Manchester area too and he would be close to the United training grounds.
