Ronald Koeman talked about Lionel Messi and now FC Barcelona fans are disappointed

FC Barcelona is going through a period of absolute chaos. If the economic crisis was not enough, someone leaked the contract of Lionel Messi to the press and he is furious. So the manager Ronald Koeman was asked about the situation of his best player and the doubts around his future in the club.

Koeman knows that someone did it with bad intentions, to damage the Argentinian. And in that interview to The Athletic, the coach said he wil always support him. The Dutch has been trying to earn Messi's respect and trust since he took the job and it seems he achieved that.

But still, he confessed he is not optimist regarding the outcome of Lio staying for next season. He hopes that though, and told he cannot imagine Messi wearing another shirt. Koeman stated that he enjoys of being Messi's manager, but the fans took him as the manager is enjoying the little time left.

And it can be true anyway, because the GOAT had said in the past that he wanted to leave because he was tired of being blamed for the problems of the club. And when the scandal of the contract was released, he probably made his final decision of leaving the club after 20 years.
