Newcastle United were recently acquired by Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund for £300m and instantly became the richest club in the world because their owners are reportedly worth £260bn and they surely have the money to spend on revamping the club and making it a force to reckon with.

The new owners have earmarked £5bn initial investment into the club, to be spent in the first three years on the stadium, academy, new signings as well as hiring a new manager with the owners reported to be in search of a new manager to replace the current manager Steve Bruce.

The club has been linked to many players, many of which are just speculations. Recent reports emerging from the British media today are that they want to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli for £30m with a chance to revive his career after a difficult last two years.

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino who managed Dele Alli at Tottenham Hotspur once likened the English midfielder to Brazilian legend Gaucho Ronaldinho. At 25, he may well be far from who Ronaldinho is and what he achieved in his career and the comparison appears very off the point.
