What kind of coach would not like to have Kylian Mbappé in his team? Perhaps Zinedine Zidane is the only one who can say “I don’t”. Why? Because he is looking for new possible signings for the upcoming summer transfer market. Does Real Madrid have over $180 million to go and buy the 22-year-old star? It does not look like.

As per the transfer market, Real Madrid has a big concern: the defense. Apart from the quite likely departure of Sergio Ramos, it was recently known that Chelsea is also following France’s national team center back Raphael Varane. Should he move to London, the income for Real Madrid would not be low, but still quite far from Mbappé’s price.

That could be the reason why Zidane is looking for more options for a striker, after Karim Benzema has turned 33 years old. It’s not Mbappé, but another rising star. After scoring over a goal per game in his 2020-21 season average, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland could be the one to bring more celebrations to the White House.

As per Haaland’s reported market value, Real Madrid could have to make a wire transfer of over $133 million to acquire the Norwegian star, as pointed by Transfermarkt. That would report over $100 million of profit, after the Dortmund side bought him from RB Salzburg for ‘just’ $24 million a year ago.
