On November 29th, Raul Jimenez got a skull fracture after a head clash with David Luiz in a match against Arsenal. The whole soccer world was worried about him, but the surgery went fine, he has been doing rehabilitation and even went back to the training ground hoping to play again next season.

Wolverhampton manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, is following closely his situation and today he talked about how is he currently and when might he have his first match after the surgery. And the Portuguese gave great news about the Mexican, that were totally unexpected even for him.

Nuno told that Raul Jimenez could play again this season. He was impressed because he passed all the concussion tests he had. But he will not hurry about it because he knows this is not a normal injury. There is a medical plan and they have to be very responsible about his actual return date.

It was asked if Raul would have to wear a helmet to protect his head like happened to Petr Cech, and he said he was not sure but it was unlikely because Jimenez is a striker and Cech was a goalkeeper, that did not have to use his head. Anyway, everything is still uncertain, but his quick progression surprised everybody and that is great itself.
