Raúl Jiménez was linked to many clubs during the last transfer window. The Mexican player himself recognized that every day he checked social media to see with which team he was linked to. At the end, he also assured that even though many were rumors, some other were not.

The attacker said that Manchester United was near to sign him but at the end the transfer wasn’t made. As he said, both clubs didn’t reach an agreement and that was the reason why everything ended with him staying.

Jiménez said that before playing with Mexico national team, after being called-up by Gerardo Martino for both FIFA international break friendlies against South-Korea and Japan. The forward is playing since July 2019 for Wolverhampton, when the Premier League signed him after paying $40 million to Benfica.

It is hard to think that the Wolves will let him out that easy, as he signed a contract until June 2024 and was paid a fortune. His actual value, according to specialized website Transfermarkt is of $45 million and in this context of crisis and COVID-19 pandemic it is hard to think that a club will be paying that amount of money for a signing. Jiménez was formed on America Liga MX side and afterwards played for Atlético de Madrid, Benfica and Wolves.
