Raúl Jiménez suffered a terrible injury in a very bad moment of his professional career. The attacker aged 29 was the best Mexican striker on the world so far this season, when he crashed his head against David Luiz on the match that Arsenal played against Wolverhampton, and suffered a skull fracture.

Doctors rapidly assist him and sent him out of the field, in a game that Wolves won 2-1 against Gunners but nobody was interested at after the injury. Jiménez spent some nights at the hospital and lately could return to his house with his family. His comeback to the field will happen for sure next year.

It is yet discussed in which conditions Jiménez is going to return, as many assure that he will need to use a helmet in his head to play, as the one Petr Cech used, and take care of giving headers. The next weeks will be key to evaluate his evolution and to know when he could be able to return.

Facing such a difficult moment, Jiménez received an incredible tribute by Wolverhampton fans on Molineaux Stadium. On the game against Aston Villa on Premier League week 12, a giant banner was set on Steve Bull stand with a message that said Fuerza Raúl, what means Be strong in Spanish. The strength of the Wolf is in the pack, it was read behind.

The price of the banner

Made of complete PVC, The Sun publishes that the banner cost the fans up to $20,000 and that was the way in which fans choose to honor Jiménez. The player arrives to the club on July 2019, when joining from Benfica for $40 million, and since then played 110 games, scored 47 goals and gave 18 assists.
