Raul Jimenez's skull fracture meant sad news for soccer world. While he was in hospital, lots of fans around the planet sent their support and love to him. Fortunately, the surgery was successful, Raul will recover appropiately and fans are now relieved this star will be around for a while.

This time, it was Raul who commented about the encouraging and strength he got from the people, and showed his gratitude. Yesterday, he had visited his teammates at training. Today, he talked to fans and told them how happy are he and his family of the moral boost they gave him.

He did so by posting a video on his Instagram account, focused on the banner chosen by fans to cheer him and send best wishes in tomorrow's game versus Aston Villa at Molineux Stadium. He thanked fans, teammates and people who showed him support in this painful and difficult time.

The striker will be out of the pitches for a long time. Before he needs to start his rehabilitation, but Jimenez will be able to do so around March or April, when the intervened part of his skull is fully scarred. Doctors said his recovery has gone better than expected and Raul will return to the pitches like nothing happened.
