Pele played just a couple of years out of Santos FC. Almost all of his career passed on the Brazilian side, in which he played since 1957 until 1975. At the start of this last year, he accepted to move and have one last chance to play outside his country before retirement. That was when he accepted the offer of New York Cosmos, club in which he played until 1977.

The attacker bought an impressive mansion in the neighborhood of East Hampton when he was living there. It costed him $156,000 dollars and, after the remodeling and the new design it received, it was sold for more than $3 million. An impressive house with six dormitories, a huge swimming pool and much mod cons.

The problems for Pele already started to arrive and, at his 80 years old, he doesn’t want to travel longer anymore. That was the reason why he decided that the best option was to sell his house in New York. The new life of Pele consists of staying in his house at Brazil and rest.

The health situation of the legend is not bad, but his age prevents him from doing some things that he would have done on other days. O Rei is considered one of the best soccer players ever, in the level of Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, and is the only one in soccer history who achieved three World Cup titles (1958, 1962 and 1970).
