Paul Pogba will be out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season and is yet to accept a new contract by the club as talks are stalling between players' representatives and the club, reportedly due to wage demands.

Top European clubs including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, his former club Juventus and FC Barcelona are said to be interested in snapping him up for free and will try to enter a pre-agreement with him in January which would mean he walks out of Manchester United for free.

The four clubs who are interested in his signature would have to engage in a battle of who will match his wage demands, which is believed to be around £500,000. Another factor which could prove pivotal in the deal would be his agent Mino Raiola, whom many European clubs believe is difficult to deal with.

FC Barcelona's financial crisis means they have given it a second thought and club president Joan Laporta has said that the Catalan club will not be able to justify paying Paul Pogba's wage demands amid an ongoing financial crisis which forced the club's greatest player Lionel Messi out of the club.
