Paul Pogba could leave France national team. That was the title from many newspapers after a statement from president Emmanuel Macron. The leader said a comment about Islam and terrorism, that the English press reported that was not likely for Pogba and that in response he would resign to France.

But, after so many rumors regarding the news, Pogba cleared with a post on Instagram that he is staying. Fake news, wrote the playmaker with a screenshot of The Sun British newspaper that talked about the resignation of Pogba. For now, we may think that the midfielder aged 27 will stay long at his national team.

Pogba made his debut with France on March 2013 and has 71 appearances with the national team. He won the World Cup on Russia 2018 and is looking forward to gain new titles in the future. During the games played, Pogba scored 10 goals, four during friendlies, three in World Cup Qualifiers, two during the World Cup and one at the EURO.

France recently played two games in the international break, both for the UEFA Nations League. First, they tied against Portugal and afterwards they defeated Croatia. Their next match will be against Finland, and then they will complete the group stage of the European competition: against Portugal and Sweden.
