Among many soccer stars that will become free agents by the end of June and promise a very shaken transfer market in summer, there is Sergio Ramos. The Spanish defender is about to end a 15-year long spell in Real Madrid. He could leave free next season to Paris Saint-Germain. Zero cost of transfer to the club… except for the huge fortune they will offer him as salary.

It is known that during the last six months of a soccer contract the player is completely free to negotiate and arrange with another club and so move without any transfer fee from the day after the settlement is finished. In the upcoming summer transfer market this trend will repeat as it has never been done in the last years.

Following the departure of Ramos, Real Madrid is already looking for new options in the defense. Meanwhile the PSG board is getting the paycheck ready to offer a whole lot of money to the Spanish center back. As per a report from Spanish radio show El Transistor, Ramos’ current club will adjust to his current salary for one more season ($14.5 million), while the French offer would be significantly higher. To give an idea, Kylian Mbappé, being a 22-year-old world star, earns $21 million.

It was reported that Paris Saint-Germain could offer him a three-year deal with a $18.15 million salary, converted from the €15 million that would effectively be paid. Later, it was published that Real Madrid would do a counteroffer: two more season with a salary reduction of %10.
